This template is used to create an infobox for official artists of any discipline (visual arts, performance, music, literature, multimedia, etc.). It is not limited to musical artists.

Parameters
- name
- The artist's common name.
- image
- Filename of the artist's image (e.g., `Artist.jpg`).
- caption
- A caption for the image.
- birth_name
- The artist's full name at birth.
- alias
- Other names the artist uses.
- birth_date
- Date of birth, preferably using Expression error: Unrecognized punctuation character "{"., {{{3}}} (aged Expression error: Unrecognized punctuation character "{".).
- birth_place
- Place of birth.
- origin
- The country or region the artist is primarily associated with.
- nationality
- The artist's nationality.
- genre
- The artist's primary genre(s) or style(s).
- occupation
- The artist's roles (e.g., singer, painter, writer).
- years_active
- The period the artist has been active.
- label
- The primary record label, gallery, or publisher associated with the artist.
- notable_works
- The artist's most famous works.
- height
- The artist's height (if relevant).
- languages
- Languages spoken or used by the artist.
