It seems that there are 104 different versions of the CC-BY-SA license. This page should be a disambiguation page, and also answer how to deal with works that do not specify which license is meant. How does Wikimedia Commons deal with this? -- Sloyment (talk) 02:50, 7 September 2025 (CEST)

It never seems in California ... :-D
And out of CA? Listen carefully to the weather report of you local radio station :-P
Just kidding, but You kidd along very much too: CC-BY-SA exists in the official versions 1.0, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 4.0. You can use the fingers of one complete hand to count the versions. It's exciting to read that You have 104 fingers on one hand.
OK, we need more explanation. Because users were invited by You to spread Free Cultural Works by means of this wiki to all wo appreciate free music!!!! And You as well as creativecommons.org said definitely, that CC-BY-SA is a true license for contributing Free Cultural Works according to https://freedomdefined.org/Definition ! So let's focus on the officially released 5 versions and forget about the 99 others! Uwe Kulick (talk) 22:34, 7 September 2025 (CEST)
